Made In Dagenham
Wednesday 29 Oct - Saturday 1 Nov 2025
In the summer of 1968, a group of women at the Ford factory in Dagenham went on strike in protest at the regrading of their jobs. Within weeks, almost all production across Ford's plants in the UK was affected, causing hardship for the women and their families, and strife with their husbands, most of whom also worked in the factories. Eventually, their action made history by leading to the passing of the Equal Pay Act in 1970.
In 2010, their efforts were enshrined in the form of a hit movie, followed in 2014 with a musical. And in 2025, MHMTC is proud to be celebrating this strong group of women's achievements by staging this smashing musical. Directors: David Coleman & Gaby Coleman MD: Ricardo Fernandes Tickets will go on sale in the summer.
