BACK QUIZZING AFTER LOCKDOWN
We were so delighted to have held our first in-person Quiz Night post-lockdown on 20 November 2021, as ever at Trinity Church.
We reduced the number of teams and team sizes, to allow for social distancing, to make our guests feel as comfortable as possible. And for the first time, we also offered the chance to enter virtually, and streamed the event via Zoom - which we hope to do again for our Spring 2022 Quiz!
Anyway, it proved successful, everyone enjoyed the evening, including our famous fish-and-chip supper, as tasty as ever from Golden Plaice in Borehamwood. Thanks to everyone who attended, and we raised a good amount for the coffers, which will go back into our shows.

VIRTUAL PLAY READINGS AND MEETINGS
When the pandemic struck and lockdown was imposed, MHMTC members carried on meeting virtually every fortnight, reading plays to help keep the group together, keep spirits lifted and to fulfil our love of performing.
The plays included The Boy Friend, Arsenic And Old Lace, Pygmalion, The Importance Of Being Earnest, Blithe Spirit, Acorn Antiques, Harvey, Absurd Person Singular and pantos Cinderella and Puss In Boots co-written by our very own Stephen Lanigan-O'Keeffe and Mark Sampson-Vincent.
It proved most enjoyable!
