PACKED YEAR OF SHOWS AND EVENTS
In 2022, we were still taking care after returning from Covid, with reduced audience numbers and more spacing allowed, as we got going with in-person quiz nights, which had moved to Zoom during lockdown. We also had two successful shows, with our Patrons' Party, Music Of The Knight, and we were totally sold out for our main show, Kiss Me, Kate.
We're grateful to our Patrons for their loyalty through the pandemic, and also to Hartley Hall for their flexibility with bookings. There was also some amazing support from Fr Eugene Curran at Sacred Heart church for extra weekend rehearsals, as meetings for Kiss Me, Kate started much later than usual due to the rule of six.

VIRTUAL PLAY READINGS AND MEETINGS
When the pandemic struck and lockdown was imposed, MHMTC members carried on meeting virtually every fortnight, reading plays to help keep the group together, keep spirits lifted and to fulfil our love of performing.
The plays included The Boy Friend, Arsenic And Old Lace, Pygmalion, The Importance Of Being Earnest, Blithe Spirit, Acorn Antiques, Harvey, Absurd Person Singular and pantos Cinderella and Puss In Boots co-written by our very own Stephen Lanigan-O'Keeffe and Mark Sampson-Vincent.
It proved most enjoyable!
